Privacy notice.

What we ask for when you send a request through this website, and what happens to it.

A CLEAN CAR IS A HAPPY CAR.

Notice version: 2026-10-15

Effective date: 2026-10-15

Who we are and what this covers

This notice is from Jeff’s Car Wash, LLC. It describes the information we collect through the forms on our website (Contact, Membership, Careers and Fundraiser), the staff system that receives those forms, and the error reports our website sends.

It does not describe the WashConnect storefront, where memberships, wash clubs and gift cards are bought and paid for, or what happens at a wash location.

What we ask for

You choose what to send. When you send a message through our website, we ask for your first name, last name, phone number, email address and your message. Some forms also ask which location you mean.

A membership issue or cancellation request also asks for the RFID tag number on your car and the last 4 digits of your card, so staff can find your membership.

Careers and fundraiser requests ask for the details needed to answer them, such as the position, organization or event date you give us. With a job application you may also attach one résumé, as a PDF, DOC or DOCX file of up to 5 MB; we keep the file and its file name with the application.

With every form we also record when you sent it and which version of this notice was shown with the form. You get a six-digit reference number: keep it if you want to ask us about your request later.

Form security. Our forms use a security check to help tell people from bots; the service provider that runs it receives technical signals such as your IP address and browser details. To limit repeated requests, our form system keeps a counter under an identifier derived from your IP address.

Card numbers and payments

The Membership form asks for the last 4 digits of your card and nothing else of it. We never ask for a full card number, an expiry date or a security code on our website. Payments happen only in the WashConnect storefront, not in our forms. Please do not type a full card number into a message.

Who sees it, and who we share it with

Jeff’s staff who handle requests read them in a private staff system that requires a sign-in. When you send a form, the staff responsible for it get an email alert, and you get a confirmation at the email address you gave, with your reference number.

The RFID tag number and the last 4 digits of a card are shown only to Jeff’s staff: in the request itself and in the staff alert for it. They are not repeated in the confirmation we send you or in the subject of any email. Alerts go to staff mailboxes, outside the staff system.

A résumé is not sent by email: only staff with hiring access can see it, in the staff system. It is kept in private storage run by our service providers.

Your information is not sold, and it is not shared for advertising. Only the service providers that run our website and staff system process this information for us. WashConnect runs the storefront under its own privacy notice.

How long we keep it

Membership requests. A membership request is deleted from the staff system 90 days after staff close it, and in any case 2 years after it arrived; the copies of its alert and confirmation emails held in the staff system are deleted 90 days after the request was sent, and never later than the request itself. Staff notes about the request and the system’s records of it are deleted with it.

Other forms and blocked addresses. Contact, Careers and Fundraiser requests, the staff notes about them and the staff system’s copies of their emails are deleted 2 years after they arrive; an email address that our emails could not be delivered to, or whose owner reported them as spam, stays on the staff system’s block list, with the latest such report, for 2 years after that report, whichever form it was given in. A résumé sent with a job application is deleted with it, 2 years after the application arrives; one that was uploaded but never sent with an application is deleted within about a day.

Backups. An encrypted backup of the staff system is normally deleted by the first backup run on or after the 35th day after the day it was made, which is about five weeks, so a deleted request can remain in a backup for about that long.

Staff mailboxes. The staff system cannot delete an alert from a mailbox.

Abuse-prevention counters expire after 15 minutes.

Error reports. Error reports are deleted after 30 days.

Error reports

When it is switched on, our website sends a short report to our error-reporting service provider if one of its own scripts fails in your browser, so that we can find and fix the problem. A report describes the error and the page it happened on. Error reports are designed not to include what you typed into a form.

We do not record sessions or page activity, and we do not set cookies for these reports. Because your browser connects to that provider to send the report, the provider receives your IP address; we instruct it not to store the address with the report.

Your questions and requests

You can ask what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Call us at the number below. Give your six-digit reference number if you have it; it helps us find a request but is not proof of identity, so we may ask you something else to check that the request is yours. Please do not send identification documents or card details. We answer privacy requests within 30 days.

Changes to this notice
